Hicks Academy looks forward to providing K–8 graders with dreams, goals, and excitement. Instructor: Nakita Hicks. We provide a wide range of programs and accommodate K–8 grade students. Our curriculum is project-based, STEM-based, and inquiry-based, promoting social and emotional growth. Our educational framework covers general education courses and special education objectives. Our staff is experienced in teaching General Education and Special Education, and is certified in General Education, Special Education, and Administration.

Hi my name is Nakita Hicks. I have taught 3rd, 5th, 9th and 10th grade English on the High School Level. I have 15 years in education, specializing in reading intervention. I am also a Youth Leader. I believe in mentoring children into their best selves.
